Emily Moriarty

Crystal Sound have had Emily coach us on a number of occasions. She is so generous with her time and her expertise. We think she's amazing! We love her approach... she listens well and gently, but firmly, brings the best out of each of us. Because of her theatre experience, we feel we get an extra bite into the performance knowledge and because she is an arranger, we know that she will get us singing our songs how they're meant to be sung. Emily coached us the day prior to SAA Contest in May and she gave us practical tips for maintaining enery, good sound and presence, both in sound and visual. We engaged her for a briefing of our performance after the contest. This was a so beneficial to us, as we needed to breakdown what we had put on stage. Emily watched our performance back, looked through the score sheets and explained what the judges were getting at. She then gave us much needed confidence and a lesson on self talk after a difficult stage experience. We are now building new, practical habits after Emily's great advice. We highly recommend Emily. You will enjoy every minute. 🎶

What an INCREDIBLE Coach and human being!! Emily has been a guiding force for us starting as a new barbershop youth quartet. She helped us navigate our story arch’s for our contestant songs, discover our most resonant and relaxed sound, and workshopped us through our trouble points in our songs. She constantly has provided us tips and tricks, as well as the confidence in our abilities as a quartet to move forward with our goals and continue to improve our craft. We have been so grateful to have Emily as a coach and can’t wait to continue working with her.
