Xavier McGettigan

Xavier's barbershop journey started unofficially with tags at the 2024 Vic region afterglow (they distinctly remember members of Mixed Signals saying "welcome to the cult") and officially as a founding member of the Laneway City Singers in the bass section, where he also serves as Visuals Leader. They also sing baritone in Mixed Fruit Jam, which began as a scratch quartet for Laneway's 2025 end of year concert. Outside of barbershop, Xavier is a professional choreographer, performing arts educator and theatre director, while currently studying a Bachelor of Education (music major) at Victoria University. He has worked on numerous productions for schools, community theatre and independent theatre as a choreographer, director, vocal director and muscial director.
